Play Every Day

 
          Every day I engage in some creative play. Painting, sewing and writing are my favorite activities to occupy my mind and time.  
          For most of my life, daily, I would feel incomplete and edgy and unsatisfied with how I spent my day without some creative outlet. My inner Muse would let me know she was not pleased with ignoring our craft. She is always right.  
          After many years of my inner Muse and my inner artist having conversations, we found a way to work well together. I know I cannot waste a day without at least a few moments of creativity and my Muse is happy with this.  
          Being creative is the same as playing like an innocent child. Being creative is being close to my inner core and soul and intuition. The byproduct is confidence and groundedness and peace by way of creatively generating ideas, possibilities, problem solving, communication and entertainment.  
          How very precious is that from a little bit of playing every day. Play away, every single day.
