Kitty cat looked at the peculiar teapot in her hands and felt happy.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her cozy surroundings. She had always loved the barn with its big, warm crevices. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel happy.
Kitty cat said, “I am truly lucky to have such a wonderful barn to live in with so many rats and mice to hunt.”
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Mrs. Mouse. Mrs. Mouse has a face of an angel with hairy eyes and solid feet.
Kitty shouted: “Hello, Mrs. Mouse, how are you today?”
Mrs. Mouse is always cautious around Kitty Cat because Kitty Cat can get hungry at any time.
“I am well Kitty Cat, off to find some cheese.” Mrs. Mouse sounded confident.
Kitty gulped. She glanced at her own reflection in a pool of clear water. She was an admirable, cute, tea drinker with wide eyes and ginger feet. Her friends saw her as an adventurous, attractive gem. Once, she had even helped a baby bird cross the road.
But not even an admirable Kitty who had once helped a baby bird cross the road, was prepared for what Mrs. Mouse had in store today.
The sun shone like dancing cats, making Kitty sneezy.
As Kitty stepped outside and Mrs. Mouse came closer, she could see the flipping glint in her eye.
Mrs. Mouse gazed with the affection of seven funny misty goats. She said, in hushed tones, "I love you little goats, do you want some cheese"?
Kitty looked back, even sneezier and still fingering the peculiar teapot. "I like to share my cheese when I have it," she replied.
They looked at each other with joyous feelings, like two best friends, on this special Sunday, which had classical music playing in the background and two patient doggies loving the beat.
Kitty regarded Mrs. Mouse’s hairy eyes and solid feet. "I feel the same way!" revealed Kitty with a delighted grin.
Then Mrs. Mouse and Kitty cat and the seven funny goats went inside for a nice cup of tea and some cheese.
Moral: Good friends accept you just the way you are.
